Rider Question: If I already have a heat shield, can I return the one that came with the Reckless system for a refund or store credit?
Mosko Answer: We don’t offer returns for the heat shield that comes bundled with the Reckless system. We understand it can feel unnecessary if your exhaust setup doesn’t require one, but we include it in every kit to make sure the system is truly “ready to ride” straight out of the box. Exhaust configurations vary widely across bikes, and many riders use the same Reckless on multiple machines, so including the shield ensures no one ends up without a critical safety component.
The heat shield is also priced differently as part of the kit than when purchased on its own, so returning it for a refund or store credit creates complications we’re not able to support cleanly yet.
