Rider Question: Can I somehow bend the reckless CURV® harness using a heat gun into a shape that would fit my motorcycle better?
Mosko Answer: Yes, the material is thermoplastic and can be formed with heat. You can do gradual bends with a temperature up to 160 °C; It won't hurt the PET until over 200 °C. It would be best to bend it in a vice, heat only the bend radius, and then let it cool while still clamped.
That said, keep in mind that once a Reckless system is strapped down under tension, it will take a set to the shape of the trail rack, etc., over time. You want the tension when you strap it down, which keeps it from flapping.
