The Reckless systems can be mounted without the use of a rear rack. A Cleat Kit comes with each reckless system, that being said, you could purchase a couple of extra Cleats to ensure adequate anchoring points.
Please note for smaller frames, it's best practice to check your system throughout the day to ensure proper mounting placement.
